Meet Our Operations Support

Kristen Conley, MS, RN
Professional Practice and Magnet Coordinator

Kristen Conley serves as the Professional Practice and Magnet Coordinator for Georgetown University Hospital. Kristen began her career at Georgetown as an Emergency Department nurse in 2000, performing as a role model and instructor for new graduates, charge nurse, and preceptor. She transferred to her current role under Operations Support in April 2006. Since then she has begun to expand the nursing website and write and edit the hospitals nursing magazine, The Georgetown Nurse. She is actively involved in the hospitals Shared Governance Councils, Quality Councils, Magnet Champions, and Magnet Steering Committee. Kristen coordinates the Fourteen Forces of Magnet, participating in all fourteen committees, and is assisting with the Magnet Status redesignation process.

Kristen received her B.S. in Nursing from The Catholic University of America in 2000. In 2006 she received her M.S. in Health Systems Administration with honors from Georgetown University and was inducted into the Upsilon Phi Delta Society. Kristen lives in Georgetown and enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
